The Air We Breathe In – How It Affects Us
The Coventry and Warwickshire Air Quality People’s Chamber (CW-AQPC) has been renamed as Central England Air Quality People’s Chamber (CE-AQPC). The Chamber is an organisation initiated by the local community led by Professor Reza Ziarati with support from residence associations, local innovators, pollution experts, green businesses, local councils, medical profession, engineering and scientific professional bodies including the two local universities. The chamber is open to all organisations and individuals to initiate ideas or seek help to implement tangible and practical projects at local, national and international levels. There are a number of businesses supporting the Chamber but the prime sponsor at the moment, Centre for Factories of the Future (www.c4ff.co.uk) has many years of experience in air pollution studies with exceptional track record in collaborative education, R&D and innovation projects. The idea of the Chamber is to bring all people in Coventry and Warwickshire to come together sharing ideas and expertise to improve air quality and support climate action initiatives.

Vision and Mission
To transform Central England into a clean green area by responding to the 2030 UN Climate Emergency to achieve at least a 50% carbon reduction by focussing on improving air quality.
Main Aim
To initiate high and lasting impact action research project aiming to realise our vision to ensure the partners and local residents have the tools, contacts, information and support to drive action against climate change. The intended work with communities will be granulated to take into account our diverse communities and the triggers for change in each.
Impact
The intension is to identify ideas and projects that can have high impact underpinned and informed by gathering the latest evidence on high-impact climate action and practical examples with a the intension of helping and inspiring places and communities to develop their selected projects.

Air Quality Conference Report and Observations
There are nine reports being prepared on air quality assessment in several locations worldwide; three of them are general reports on the situations in the UK and the other six reports summarise the arrangements for improving air quality in several cities and makes special references to measures in place in the USA and the cities such as Paris, the latter as a specific example of what happens in the EU.
